The transgender issue is more actual than ever. Many stars speak about their change of sex in the press. Their joy and euphoria about their courageous decision is paramount. At the same time, however, the number of people who regret their change of sex and suffer from the strong and mostly irreparable side effects is growing. But their voice is silenced and is barley heard in the mainstream media. In this program, Julia gives these people a voice and reports about their experiences and sufferings.[continue reading]

Hello, I’m Julia!
I saw just recently a very interesting documentary and I wanted to share it with you. It was about Detransition. Probably most of you have not heard of this before, me neither. It is about people who are or were transgender and who chose to change back into their natural, biological gender.
I found very interesting what these people were saying. There is an ever- growing community of Detrans-people who are more and more public, sharing ideas or simply giving information, telling about their process and motivation that made them do that.
This topic really touched me because you could feel a lot of suffering and pain too, the fact that this is not heard in the leading media, that it is not a topic there, that this topic would also not be mentioned in all of the transgender publicity and the whole positive reporting – if only one would simply mention this fact as well and shed light on the reason why people actually regret their choice and what made them change their mind again.
I found some points very impressive. All these people I met said the same thing, they said that they had been lonely at the time when they took the decision. It did move me a lot. Some of them, most of them had been depressive, suffered from eating-disorders, were suicidal, they were thinking: “If I take this decision now, this will get rid of these problems, then I will get rid of my old self, then I will be a person, then I will be able to start all over again and leave all those old problems behind me.” They also said: “I had no one to talk to at that time when I could have talked, and I fled to the internet where I found this solution for myself and thought: This is my solution now, this is my way of getting rid of my problems, how everything will change.”
And because it was portrayed very positively there, very HIP, very IN – many said they knew very popular transgender people who just did something new that seemed very interesting to other people – and they wanted to be like them.
Another point mentioned by these people was that this process also went very fast. They went to a psychologist who, most of the time, didn’t even make a comprehensive admission interview. The psychologists themselves talked much more than the concerned people and didn’t ask much or didn’t do a detailed analysis. “What’s the matter, what do you want?” He just quickly gave his consent to get a hormone treatment. This is the first step. So they took these first steps relatively quickly.
I found really striking that immediately after you start taking testosterone for example, irreparable damages start within just a few months- I mean that you might regret it afterwards. The voice gets deeper, so you break your voice and that can never be reversed. So, all these women I saw in this documentary had male voices. They literally said: “Well, , I have lost my voice.”
In addition to the fact that the voice changes, there are consequential serious side effects such as, for example, lifelong infertility, sexual dysfunctions, vascular and heart diseases, malignant tumors, strokes. Suicidal rate is also known to significantly increase among transgender people.
I also read about the reason why doctors join in, just go along with it, operate on patients, and why more and more doctors also speak up and say: “It is not good to do that at an early age so quickly”. But many doctors say: “We are accused and get criminal charges if we refuse because of discrimination”. So many doctors indeed are afraid of losing their jobs, that’s the reason why they consent more quickly.
I also found quite significant what all these Detrans-people said: “By all means, do not allow children to make this decision at an early age. No child knows what to expect nor the consequences.” So all said: Don’t do that. They said: “Why did nobody stop me? I would have needed someone to stop me, someone who would have said: Hey, think about it again!” And now they say: “Please do not allow your children to do that, they cannot assess it.”
If you look at the current developments, the number of gender children is increasing. There are special centers in Germany where tens of thousands of children are given treatment. They are being treated with heavy hormones, with puberty blockers of which nobody knows what they will cause. Consequences like livelong infertility are known already. But when the hormones are added to puberty blockers, well, their fate is sealed. As I said, whether there is a change of voice or not, depending on the person, I feel that it is important to hear both sides. You only hear the positive side of transgender, where people say: “Now I am finally ME.” But you also need to hear the other side.
There are many people who regret it. They say: “This was the wrong decision for me! And it now has irreparable consequences for my life and it causes a great deal of pain and problems in this process of changing gender back which can no longer happen without consequences.”
This counter voice should also be heard in all the schools where common teaching practice is to teach gender ideologies. Detrans-people should have a voice to speak out next to transgender people and be allowed to say:
“I have had different experiences and the whole thing had these side effects.” A comprehensive education should be taught so that every young person can really take all consequences into account and have a realistic and honest picture of the whole thing.
