What is going on behind the scenes in Kazan?

Dear viewers, are you also under the impression that we are increasingly haunted by catastrophes in our beautiful world? Yes they were always there in history, but they seem to be increasing every year. Is it a natural phenomenon? Is it God's judgment? Or is it brought about by humans? We have no intention to foment any speculation with today's program, yet we want to talk about so-called "simulation exercises" that are closely related to catastrophes. In May 2O17, the G20 health ministers gathered in Berlin under German leadership stressed the importance of regular "simulation exercises" and practiced an emergency response to global health threats. Such exercises first became popular in the 2000s. For the most part, they took place behind closed doors or were not made public. However, the October 2019 "Event 201" exercise, initiated by WHO [World Health Organization], the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Johns Hopkins University, received a relatively higher public profile. The Corona pandemic scenario was played out then in almost exactly the same way it has actually played out shortly thereafter to the present day.Today we inform you about a new exercise that took place in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russia), from October 11th to 15th, 2021, initiated and supported by the WHO Collaborating Centre for Global Outbreak Alert and Response [GOARN, formerly INIG, the Information Centre for International Health Protection at the Robert Koch Institute], a global network of more than 75 countries whose mission is to focus on rapid detection and management of disease outbreaks. The Russian Consumer Protection and Health Protection Inspectorate was responsible for organizing the simulation exercise. About 100 participants from CIS [Commonwealth of Independent States] - and European countries, as well as representatives of WHO, took part in the event. Modern and mobile laboratories were provided for this operation. What was this exercise about? Participants were to practice collective measures to be taken in the event of outbreaks of infections that could escalate into a pandemic. It was the first international event on the topic of responding to infectious disease threats. Likewise, a pattern of action was to be worked out according to which one could proceed in the event of an antagonistic maneuver against Russia. This event caused a great deal of distrust and counter-demonstrations among the population of Kazan, which is not surprising with a hindsight on "Event 201". A group of citizens launched an Internet appeal against the planned action and clearly expressed their opposition to these events in Kazan. Within a few days, the clip was seen by tens of thousands of social media users. The level of concern in the comments was beyond the pale - without full information, the worst-case scenarios were assumed. It remains to be seen what will evolve from this. Whether the fears are warranted and, if so, find their way to an "aftermath", similar to what happened with Event 201 And by the way, the next simulation exercise in spring 2022 is already scheduled.
