Ukraine: Free journalism looks different!

In February 2021, the Ukrainian president Selenskyj bans by decree all free media, i.e. media critical of him. In April 2022, he is presented with the "Freedom of the Media Award" in Germany. Doesn't that speak volumes about the quality of our media? [read more] [continue reading]

Ukraine: Free journalism looks different!

07.07.2022 | www.kla.tv/23019

In February 2021, Ukrainian President Selensky issued a decree banning all free media that are critical of him. Since then, many journalists who disagree with his power apparatus have disappeared without a trace or died under dubious circumstances. Many Ukrainian governors are calling for Russian sympathizers to be hung from trees. Selenskyj makes the following verbatim comments against journalists whom he mentions by name, on the state television : "These front-line liars and their superiors in Moscow must remember that the end of their lives will be behind bars - at best." Despite this obvious suppression of free journalism, Selenskyj will be presented with the "Freedom of the Media Award" in Germany, in April 2022. Doesn't that speak volumes about the quality of our media?
