Biden scandal deliberately covered up during election campaign

How specifically politics influences reporting, especially in social media, can be seen in the following example. At the End of the 2020 U.S. election campaign, Facebook public policy and law expert Anna Makanju was tasked with labeling all negative messages on Facebook about Joe Biden as Fake News and blocking anyone who linked to the original sources. The content of the reports was explosive, mainly concerning concealed payments from Ukraine to a New York company in the tens of millions. Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, a US lawyer and business lobbyist, were involved in these payments. At the time, Biden was still U.S. Vice President responsible for affairs with Ukraine. It is interesting that Anna Makanju was at that time under Biden the person in charge of Ukraine and also a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the transatlantic network "Atlantic Council". This is a think tank whose own mission is to promote U.S. leadership worldwide and to influence international affairs. Thus, Makanju was anything but a neutral person! Nevertheless, in the final phase of the election campaign, she was allowed to delete all emerging news about Biden's scandals in Ukraine from Facebook.
