75 years of the Nuremberg Code – today more relevant than ever?
75 years ago, the important ethical manifesto was formulated as the central demand in the “Nurem-berg Codex”: Never again compulsory medicine! What that means and whether it is still important today became clear in the presentations by promi-nent international speakers at the Nuremberg commemorative event. But how can one describe one's hardship nowadays if one thinks that one perceives developments that one would never want to experience again in this country? This program brings examples of people who have real-ized: “I have to stand up and do something!”
Dr. Walter Weber of 'Ärzte für Aufklärung' (Doctors for Education): “We want to say with all of you, '75 years Nuremberg Code – Never again compulsory medicine!'“
Dr. Sabine Helmbold (journalist and physician): “What matters in our times is to keep watch and be courageous and to remind oneself of this again and again: The Nuremberg Code is valid for the past and for now! We must not let up demanding that every doctor complies with it unconditionally.”
Vera Sharav (Holocaust survivor): The Nuremberg Code defined foundational, universal, moral and legal standards, affirming the fundamental human rights. The human rights apply to every human being, every race, creed and color. It makes no difference. We are one human family! The Covid pandemic is being exploited as an opportunity to overturn the moral and legal parameters laid down by the Nuremberg Code. The Nuremberg Code is our defense against abusive experimentation.”
Jasmin Schulz of 'Hebammen stehen auf' (Midwives stand up): “Miscarriages within three months after the vaccination and a very clear connection between the two. You must not forget, each time it is a child that is lost, one that parents had been looking forward to.”
Rolf Kron of 'Ärzte stehen auf' (Doctors stand up): The Nuremberg Code admonish-es us that never, never, never again may doctors debase a human being in cold scrutiny to be a mere object of ethically questionable knowledge, to be an object of a power interest or of financial gain.”
Saturday, August 20, 2022, marked the 75th anniversary of the day the Nuremberg Code was formulated. These medical rules which since then have been universally valid were issued in 1947 at the end of the Nuremberg doctors' trials. At that time, 20 concentration camp doctors, among others, were put on trial. Since then, the ethics of the Nuremberg Code have been calling out to the world, as it were, "Never again!" Never again forced medicine! Never again medical experiments on people who are insufficiently informed about all the consequences! Never again pressure, violence, fraud, trickery, pretense or persuasion in medical interventions in any form whatso-ever.
However, it was not the city of Nuremberg or even the German government that called for a commemorative event on this historic day but rather German civil society, in this case the "Action Alliance 75 Years of the Nuremberg Code" led by the "Doc-tors for Education Foundation" and the organization "Doctors Stand Up".
In the run-up to the event, newspaper reports accused the organizers of making a mockery of the victims of the criminal Nazi experiments on human beings when, and I quote, "The organizers of the rally on August 20, 2022, with reference to the Nuremberg Code, try to equate corona protection measures with compulsory medi-cine".
After this memorial event, even a lady who had just barely escaped the Holocaust at that time herself, Vera Sharav, was accused of criminal charges as well. At the age of three and a half she was deported with her family to a concentration camp where she barely escaped starvation. She was the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the event. As founder and president of the Alliance for Human Research Protection, she made her fear heartbreakingly clear that we live in a time when "we must recog-nize the sinister parallels to the present" that you never want to experience again.
The numerous other distinguished national and international speakers also made it clear how important the Nuremberg Code is with regard to medical interventions, especially in the present day.
A "medical intervention" is understood to be an action that annuls or revokes the physical or mental integrity and self-determination of a patient. This includes operations, punctures, blood sampling, etc., because bodily structures are deliberately injured in the process. The German Medical Journal (Deutsches Ärzteblatt) even wrote (2007): "According to current jurisprudence, every medical intervention fulfills the criteria of bodily injury. So all this needs the consent of the person the intervention is to be carried out on. Paragraph 1 of the Nuremberg Code is not only about the rejection of any form of coercion but also about the fact that so-called "informed consent" must be given to the patient.
So the person on whom the intervention is to be performed on "should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision. Also, “it should be made known to the person the nature, duration, and purpose of the experiment; the method and means by which it is to be conducted; all inconveniences and hazards reasonably to be expected; and the effects upon his health or person which may possibly come from his participation in the experiment.”
Jasmin Schulz of "Midwives Stand Up" reported on these ‘hazards reasonably to be expected’ which should be made known to the person in advance. Following Coro-na vaccinations, she observed the following in the pregnant women she cared for. After the vaccination, problems such as weakness, asthma, permanent headache, increased susceptibility to allergies and infections, gastrointestinal problems, pres-sure on the chest and - miscarriages occurred! She therefore says that as long as a vaccination has side effects in any form, there may not be any vaccination mandate! The decision must remain free. The nurse Steffi Bresnik also sees it that way. She said, "We have to live with the existential insecurity or undergo gene therapy treat-ment which we are not convinced of. Is this really a free, self-determined and indi-vidual decision in the sense of the Nuremberg Code?" [Spectators shout] "NO!"
No one may be allowed to be forced to undergo a medical intervention – like this so-called vaccination - against his or her will. The association "Clinic Staff Stands Up." think so too. Their representatives expressed their horror that in December 2021 an unprecedented agitation against unvaccinated people began.
Therefore the medical personnel Ortenau also demands that the institution-related vaccination obligation must be rescinded. Because since March 15, 2022, employ-ees in health and nursing care facilities in Germany must prove that they have been vaccinated against Covid or have recovered in order to be allowed to continue work-ing. This bitter experience was also put forward by those affected in the audience, who stated on their posters: "In 2020 we were the heroes. In 2022 it's 'Get vaccinated or you're fired!'" They want to decide for themselves about their bodies and continue to be there for the patients with heart and soul.
Medical lawyer Beate Bahner, meanwhile, has made clear the currently valid legal aspect by explaining that the Nuremberg Code is not just a guideline but is currently valid law! "These principles are valid law! They are anchored in criminal law be-cause without proper information and consent based on it any medical treatment constitutes bodily injury, because without proper information consent is ineffective in any medical treatment and then the doctor is liable under civil law for damages and compensation for pain and suffering because of an error in information and thus in treatment." She therefore recommends physicians, for the sake of their own security, to clarify the fact that the Corona illness is to a very large extent proceeding quite mildly. The vaccination also has to be urgently clarified. It has only a condi-tional permission, without long-term studies. The pharmaceutical companies would have been exempt from safety studies. There were also no studies on pregnant women, the very elderly and the seriously ill. This means with this vaccination a healthy person is participating in research, in an experiment. The doctor must inform the person to be vaccinated about all of this. Otherwise, they are not able to give in-formed consent as required under the Nuremberg Code.
That's why it is so important not to treat people as medical objects. That's what Chris-tian, a young medical professional from "Students Stand Up", thinks. He is in favor of taking a stand for this value system while living. And Samira from "Bündnis Mensch" reminds us that the Nuremberg Code came into being at a time when peo-ple were being dehumanized. That's why, especially now, we humans should stick together. Because, as Mascha Orel points out, any decision that violates our dignity is wrong. We are also allowed to say "no" because human dignity is inviolable. She also thinks that we need to become much more numerous so that the darkness goes away completely. And she calls out to the audience, "Become the light, and remain the light!"
Or, as Dr. Tess Lawrie put it, "Good will triumph over evil if we have the courage to focus on our collective strength."
Dear Viewers, the subsequent interviews with event participants express the pleas-antly peaceful atmosphere of the six-hour commemoration event at Nuremberg's "Wöhrder Wiese". As hoped, it was altogether a calm, dignified event, as also con-firmed by the police on site.
Statements from event participants:
"Because I think that's important to remember the Nuremberg Code. I myself work in a medical profession and this is practically the basis of medicine."
"It is one of the most important laws and resolutions of the last decades and that should not be forgotten, this Nuremberg Code. It is very important." "For all people in the world peace, freedom and self-determination." "There is an incredibly positive aura here, and I think we are much much more than us here alone." "I think it's quite good that people are taking to the streets and gathering here. I like the vibe among the people that they're just peaceful here and standing up for what they really want." "As physicians, we shouldn't be the enforcers of the will of the law, we just have to be subject to our own conscience. And simple isn't easy at all; it's hard sometimes, too. The ethical and the legal are not always congruent." "The message should spread peacefully to the world and that's why I think it's nice that so many people have peacefully gathered here today. We had nice quiet moments earlier, and - I think - that is important." "So, the atmosphere is good?" - "Yes, very nice!" "The den-tist, that he shows himself publicly, that he gives a speech that he sticks to his opin-ion, I thought that was great. Because that's certainly not easy today in everyday university life. After all, that would be the most important thing for all of us, not just for the student!" "Relaxed atmosphere, I have to say. That's the most important thing, that we return to human rights and self-determination that every person can decide for themselves."
Finally, some of the prominent speakers tell us in an exclusive interview what made them leave their comfort zone and courageously stand up for a good cause ... They encourage us to do the same!
Interviewer:
You helped organize the event here. Are you satisfied with how it went here today?
Dr. Walter Weber, Ärzte für Aufklärung (Physicians for Education), oncologist and author:
Well, I can only say, very satisfied. The people who are here, have no idea what kind of effort is behind this. We've been working for four months to put this together like this.
Interviewer:
Now a lot of physicians are on the front lines with vaccination and perhaps have problems of conscience with it. What would you advise them to do about it?
Dr. Walter Weber:
Well, we helped to avert the general mandatory vaccination when Tom Lausen and Professor Arne Burkhardt were in the Federal Health Committee and put all the fig-ures on the table. A facility-based vaccination requirement was then upheld with the argument that a vulnerable group had to be protected. That's actually a no-go, be-cause you can't endanger one person's life in order to save another. So, I can't kill somebody to save somebody else. That's already been done with airplane hijackings that you can't shoot them down to save other people. You can't. And that has been done here, though.
You have to say here that people have actually disregarded all the evidence [=systematic proof of the benefit of a diagnosis or therapy]. I already looked at the WHO in April 2020, when the mask requirement came. The WHO has on its site, I still have it on my computer, ten randomized studies that the masks do nothing for infectious diseases. It was absolutely proven and it could have been scientifically overturned after two years at the earliest by larger randomized studies, because in order to do a randomized study [= study participants are randomly assigned to treat-ment groups], you need an ethics vote, you have to have a duration, a certain quan-tity, you have to evaluate it, and that takes at least two years. Large new studies could have been completed now at the earliest. It did not happen.
We have collected 46 studies on our website. We have looked into all the studies. None of them meets the scientific criteria. For example, Mr. Streeck claimed that the masks would help if they were put on correctly. I looked to see which study he was referring to. He refers to a study by the Max Planck Institute, where extrapolations were made. So it's not a real study, it's just extrapolations according to which it's as-sumed. And that's being sold as if that's what's happening. They relied on scientists who are, I don't know, corrupt, bought, opportunistic [= unprincipled, conformist, chameleon-like], I don't know. After all, it was forbidden to argue. Mr. Bhakdi, Mr. Wodarg, all of them did not get a chance to speak. Youtube videos have also been deleted, quite simply. As soon as it was not in the mainstream or government thought, it was deleted. So, we have a situation of real censorship. We have a situa-tion of censorship and what we are doing here is fighting back. We're fighting back, and it's being streamed all over the world now. The whole world should understand what's going on in Germany.
So, we are in the process of setting up things, places where people with vaccination side effects can go. We ourselves have developed a system that we have used so far to resolve all the side effects of vaccination. So, if necessary, people are wel-come to email me. You can find my email address on my website: www.drwalterweber.de. They will then get a template sent to them. And so far, we've always been able to fix it.
Interviewer:
How satisfied are you with the event today?
Rolf Kron, Ärzte stehen auf (Doctors Stand Up), General Practitioner, Homeopath:
Yes, there could have been more people, but I think that's due to the weather fore-cast, because there was an 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms predicted all day today. And the event was also unfortunately very framed in the run-up. We made a big call for people to come, I estimate that a total of around 10,000 people were there, but it's always difficult to estimate that if you don't walk through the crowd yourself. Otherwise, it was a nice event. We invited international speakers, really big names, and it's really worth watching these livestreams that were made today and that are posted on Oval-Media, certainly also on your website. So dear viewers, feel free to have a look, there were some really great speakers today. The event is not over yet, but it has definitely been a great success.
I think we are fighting for a future for our children and every father would do that for his children. There is nothing else, this is my source of strength. I also started the Levana association, Levana is the Roman patron goddess for newborns and that is my religion. We have to work here on a better world for our children and we have a huge opportunity to do that now, because never before has the criticism of vaccina-tion been so loud as it is now, never before!
Interviewer:
What do you wish for Germany?
Rolf Kron:
That people finally take to the streets. That people finally realize that we all have been lied to and deceived by a completely corrupt government, which simply throws our money out of the window by the hundreds of billions for nothing and nothing again, but our nursing staff is being cut to the bone, our pensioners no longer get their pensions, in the daycare centers there is not even a toilet brush, that is really terrible. We are constantly made to feel that we have nothing left, but billions and billions are being thrown out of the window by a tax cheater.
Interviewer:
As a physician, what would you recommend to people who are struggling with vac-cine side effects?
Rolf Kron:
First of all, definitely don't get injected again, because the risk of not surviving the next few years increases exponentially with every vaccination - it's not a vaccination - with every genetic booster you have done, the risk of getting seriously ill rises ex-ponentially. And massive detoxification therapies are important. In the meantime, there are many experts, councils of experts, who get together to create a proper ther-apy concept, how to get these spike proteins and this graphene, and everything else that is in there, out of the body. I have been working on this since 1987, actually since the beginning of my studies, when I developed detoxification concepts to-gether with doctors. I gave my first vaccine-critical lecture in 1987 and have treated many vaccine victims as a result. How do we get the heavy metals out of the body? That is my profession, I am an expert in detoxification. And we have set up many organizations in this field, an expert council, now the new professional association of doctors, the Hippocratic Oath, to the Academy for Health, Sport and Communica-tion, which I also founded.
Our Levana movement, we have really a lot of people who are working to contribute to better public health.
Interviewer:
What motivated you to come here to Nuremberg now?
Beate Bahner, specialist lawyer for medical law:
Well, this event is the most important of the year for me. 75 years of the Nuremberg Code, which contains principles that - and I don't think it's quite clear yet – that are really law and justice. To these specifications, these ten principles: Voluntariness, information, i.e. correct information of the patient, also as a patient being able to say "No, I will now end any treatment because I no longer want this", these are princi-ples that are anchored in our law. In the Patients' Rights Act, in the medical profes-sional code of conduct, and of course in the Declaration of Helsinki when it comes to research. The Federal Court of Justice has actually developed these principles over decades, since the Second World War, and they came into the Patients' Rights Act nine years ago, in 2013. The Nuremberg Code is valid law. I have spent 25 years informing and educating thousands of physicians about it, including in lectures and courses, because informed consent is a very, very important issue. The Nuremberg Code is alive, it is valid law and unfortunately it is now being violated a million times over and it was a matter of concern to me both to tell people that this is now not a recommendation, a guideline, a code which one can adhere to or not, but it is valid law and above all 300,000 doctors in Germany should know that they risk claims for damages, but also criminal proceedings at some point in the future if people have damages and should have established that they were not properly informed. So the consent is invalid, so the decision to vaccinate is not voluntary. Because voluntary means I know what I am getting into, - and lack of necessary information because they are either misinformed or because it’s simply suppressed: Then vaccination is no longer voluntary. That was important for me to say. The Nuremberg Code is not only a symbol, an important one after a very, very sad past, but it is valid law today and will be in the future.
Interviewer: What do you wish for Germany?
Beate Bahner:
Well, my wish for Germany is, of course, a return to ethically responsible medicine, away from any kind of coercion. Compulsory vaccination in the health care system is an indirect form of coercion, because anyone who is not vaccinated loses their job, their livelihood. That is unbearable. But it is supposed to be phased out by the end of the year. We don't know if that's the case. At any rate, I can now pass this on to all employees in the healthcare sector. There are legal possibilities to delay this procedure until it has perhaps settled itself. I would also advise all those affected in the healthcare sector to ask their employers for a declaration of indispensability, and if this is not forthcoming, then they should leave their jobs. Then the employer does not deserve these employees. Then the unvaccinated employees will find a better job and that is to be wished for them and they will find it. I am convinced of that.
Dr. Tess Lawrie, World Council for Health, Medical Research Consultant:
The Nuremberg Code is the absolute bible of bioethics, medical and bioethics. It is perfect and it needs no revision or replacement. And it has endured the test of time. 75 years later, everything in it is as valid today as it was then and it should not be ignored!
Interviewer:
You were a service provider for WHO. What was the moment when you realized that you couldn't really continue to work like that, and that you stood up against an injus-tice - what happened?
Dr. Tess Lawrie:
It was the first week of January 2021. I had done a systematic review on Ivermectin. And it was clear that Ivermectin would be a game-changer that it should be used to prevent and treat Covid. There was enough evidence to give it a go. And I sent the evidence to the UK health authorities and the World Health Organization and waited a few days for them to respond. And I received no response. And so, I did something I had never done before, and that was to make a small video for YouTube saying to the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, "We have a safe effective treatment for Covid. These are my credentials. This is what I do, and I have a moral duty to share this with you. Please get your Health Minister to contact me." And so that was the mo-ment where I realized I had to do something that took me out of my comfort zone. I had to stand up and do something. And I would say that was the moment when I took that leap into uncertainty and a different role.
Interviewer: What do you think about the whole day here?
Dr. Tess Lawrie:
It’s been the most wonderful event and the most wonderful day. The German people we’ve met are just so warm and caring, and have made us feel completely at home. It’s been such an honor and privilege to be here.
Interviewer: What would you like to wish Nuremberg - and Germany?
Dr. Tess Lawrie:

Dr. Walter Weber of 'Ärzte für Aufklärung' (Doctors for Education): “We want to say with all of you, '75 years Nuremberg Code – Never again compulsory medicine!'“ Dr. Sabine Helmbold (journalist and physician): “What matters in our times is to keep watch and be courageous and to remind oneself of this again and again: The Nuremberg Code is valid for the past and for now! We must not let up demanding that every doctor complies with it unconditionally.” Vera Sharav (Holocaust survivor): The Nuremberg Code defined foundational, universal, moral and legal standards, affirming the fundamental human rights. The human rights apply to every human being, every race, creed and color. It makes no difference. We are one human family! The Covid pandemic is being exploited as an opportunity to overturn the moral and legal parameters laid down by the Nuremberg Code. The Nuremberg Code is our defense against abusive experimentation.” Jasmin Schulz of 'Hebammen stehen auf' (Midwives stand up): “Miscarriages within three months after the vaccination and a very clear connection between the two. You must not forget, each time it is a child that is lost, one that parents had been looking forward to.” Rolf Kron of 'Ärzte stehen auf' (Doctors stand up): The Nuremberg Code admonish-es us that never, never, never again may doctors debase a human being in cold scrutiny to be a mere object of ethically questionable knowledge, to be an object of a power interest or of financial gain.” Saturday, August 20, 2022, marked the 75th anniversary of the day the Nuremberg Code was formulated. Also, “it should be made known to the person the nature, duration, and purpose of the experiment; the method and means by which it is to be conducted; all inconveniences and hazards reasonably to be expected; and the effects upon his health or person which may possibly come from his participation in the experiment.” Jasmin Schulz of "Midwives Stand Up" reported on these ‘hazards reasonably to be expected’ which should be made known to the person in advance. Is this really a free, self-determined and indi-vidual decision in the sense of the Nuremberg Code?" [Spectators shout] "NO!" No one may be allowed to be forced to undergo a medical intervention – like this so-called vaccination - against his or her will. And she calls out to the audience, "Become the light, and remain the light!" Or, as Dr. Tess Lawrie put it, "Good will triumph over evil if we have the courage to focus on our collective strength." Dear Viewers, the subsequent interviews with event participants express the pleas-antly peaceful atmosphere of the six-hour commemoration event at Nuremberg's "Wöhrder Wiese". As hoped, it was altogether a calm, dignified event, as also con-firmed by the police on site. Statements from event participants: "Because I think that's important to remember the Nuremberg Code. I myself work in a medical profession and this is practically the basis of medicine." "It is one of the most important laws and resolutions of the last decades and that should not be forgotten, this Nuremberg Code. That's the most important thing, that we return to human rights and self-determination that every person can decide for themselves." Finally, some of the prominent speakers tell us in an exclusive interview what made them leave their comfort zone and courageously stand up for a good cause ... They encourage us to do the same! Interviewer: You helped organize the event here. Are you satisfied with how it went here today? Dr. Walter Weber, Ärzte für Aufklärung (Physicians for Education), oncologist and author: Well, I can only say, very satisfied. The people who are here, have no idea what kind of effort is behind this. We've been working for four months to put this together like this. Interviewer: Now a lot of physicians are on the front lines with vaccination and perhaps have problems of conscience with it. What would you advise them to do about it? Dr. Walter Weber: Well, we helped to avert the general mandatory vaccination when Tom Lausen and Professor Arne Burkhardt were in the Federal Health Committee and put all the fig-ures on the table. Interviewer: How satisfied are you with the event today? Rolf Kron, Ärzte stehen auf (Doctors Stand Up), General Practitioner, Homeopath: Yes, there could have been more people, but I think that's due to the weather fore-cast, because there was an 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms predicted all day today. Interviewer: What do you wish for Germany? Rolf Kron: That people finally take to the streets. Interviewer: As a physician, what would you recommend to people who are struggling with vac-cine side effects? Rolf Kron: First of all, definitely don't get injected again, because the risk of not surviving the next few years increases exponentially with every vaccination - it's not a vaccination - with every genetic booster you have done, the risk of getting seriously ill rises ex-ponentially. Interviewer: What motivated you to come here to Nuremberg now? Beate Bahner, specialist lawyer for medical law: Well, this event is the most important of the year for me. Beate Bahner: Well, my wish for Germany is, of course, a return to ethically responsible medicine, away from any kind of coercion. Dr. Tess Lawrie, World Council for Health, Medical Research Consultant: The Nuremberg Code is the absolute bible of bioethics, medical and bioethics. It is perfect and it needs no revision or replacement. And it has endured the test of time. 75 years later, everything in it is as valid today as it was then and it should not be ignored! Interviewer: You were a service provider for WHO. What was the moment when you realized that you couldn't really continue to work like that, and that you stood up against an injus-tice - what happened? Dr. Tess Lawrie: It was the first week of January 2021. Dr. Tess Lawrie: It’s been the most wonderful event and the most wonderful day. The German people we’ve met are just so warm and caring, and have made us feel completely at home. It’s been such an honor and privilege to be here. Interviewer: What would you like to wish Nuremberg - and Germany? Dr. Tess Lawrie: Stop outsourcing your health to others and take responsibility for your health.
