Investigation reveals: How Mass Media Function in Lockstep

[Woman 1:] When you think of who owns all the publishing houses and who pays the journalists, you know who shapes public opinion. And you should notice who these people have friendly sentiments for. [Interviewer 1:] Is independent reporting still possible at all? [Woman 2:] I don't believe it is, no. [Woman 3:] I haven't a clue. [Man 1:] The official channels, they're all from the government. [Man 2:] The press that currently exists is definitely not. They are not independent. [Man 3:] I take my news from the public-service broadcasters. That's the news for me. [Woman 4:] Today's news puts you in a bad mood. [Man 4:] Yes, just social media. Nothing more. [Moderator:] Every day, the world is flooded with news. Countless headlines give the impression that there is a wide range of coverage, allowing everyone to form their own opinion. This impression is misleading. Fact is that most of the world's news comes from just three agencies, and these three are linked by one name: HAVAS – the root of all news agencies. Hundreds of Kla.TV volunteers spent months conducting investigative research and uncovered astonishing facts. When you watch or read the news, it is very likely that the content comes from one of the three major news agencies Reuters, Associated Press (AP for short), or Agence France-Presse (AFP for short). Then in fact it's basically as if it was censored. [Woman 6:] Of course, for them... that could definitely be positive for them. I don't know to what extent they're taking advantage of that. [Man 6:] Everyone's reporting the same thing, just copying from each other... and so... [Moderator:] A variety of opinion on global events? Not a chance. [many news anchors speaking at once:] …We are concerned about the troubling trend of irresponsible, one-sided news stories plaguing our country. [Anchor 7:] …plaguing our country. [News Anchor 1:] The spreading of biased and false news has become all too common on social media. More alarming, some media outlets publish these same fake stories without checking facts first. Unfortunately, some members of the media use their platforms to push their own personal bias and agenda to control exactly what people think, and this is extremely dangerous to our democracy. [Moderator:] It is striking that mass media around the world seem to report in unison in many decisive moments. Here are two examples that represent numerous other examples of uniform and manipulative reporting by the mass media. [Narrator 2:] 9/11 – Despite the overwhelming evidence pointing to a controlled demolition of the three collapsed towers – namely, the Twin Towers and the adjacent WTC 7 – the mainstream media reported, as a matter of fact, that two airplanes were said to have caused the collapse. No one questioned the official account, nor did they explain why the third tower that was not hit – WTC 7 – collapsed. All three towers plummeted to the ground in free fall and literally crumbled to dust. What followed as an enforced shock by the media worldwide is still well known. With the subsequent so-called “Arab Spring”, the USA left a trail of blood across the Arab world. Covid – Although numerous renowned scientists, doctors, and experts questioned the declared pandemic and the adopted measures, policymakers pushed through their agenda with an iron hand. Instead of providing critical or at least balanced coverage, giving experts a voice, and supporting the protesters, the mainstream media reported almost unanimously on virtually every talking-point. Any critical voice was immediately torn apart by the media and severely defamed. Yet the media's true mission should have been to question politicians and give a voice to genuine experts. [Host:] Volker Bräutigam worked 10 years for Germany's ARD's "Tagesschau" and sees a fundamental problem in the fact that ARD draws its information primarily from three sources: dpa/AP, Reuters, and AFP. Like many other media outlets, Swiss Radio and Television (SRF) largely relies on news agencies as sources for its reporting. When asked why a peace march in Ukraine went unreported, the editorial staff stated: “To date, we have not received a single report or any video footage on this march from the independent agencies from which we receive visual material (Reuters, AP, AFP) […] "However, if we receive any photos of the march's arrival in Kyiv, we will report on it." To understand how the three major news agencies came into being and how they were able to expand their influence worldwide, it is important to take a look at the history of the Havas agency: HAVAS – The First Major Agency Following the coup d’état led by the French general and freemason Napoleon Bonaparte in 1799, within 10 years the number of masonic lodges in France rose from 300 to 1,220 in 1814. Freemasonry became influential. Under the influence of the freemason Napoleon, the French merchant Charles-Louis Havas became a co-owner of the newspaper *Gazette de France* and was introduced to the world of journalism for the first time. In 1835, under King Louis-Philippe I, he founded what is now the world's oldest news agency, from which the three most influential agencies of today emerged. Havas was then funded by the French government under King Louis-Philippe I, a freemason, and given significant preferential treatment to spread government propaganda. The most influential banker in France – and at the same time a key figure in the French government at that time – was the freemason James Mayer de Rothschild. He was an advisor and confidant of the king and had a significant influence on politics. The government granted Havas exclusive access to the telegraph network, which was new at the time and of enormous importance. Within 25 years, Havas, with the government's help, eliminated all its competitors and gained a monopoly as France's news agency, wielding significant international influence. [Moderator:] Havas had undoubtedly become the world's leading telegraphic news agency of its time. In light of these circumstances, the writer Honoré de Balzac expressed outrage at the organization's founder as early as the 19th century: "Mr. Havas runs an agency […], and he is the first to receive all the newspapers from every country of the world. […] "In this regard, there is only one newspaper written by him, and all other newspapers draw their information from it." Around 1914, the idiom that originated primarily from Switzerland, “Don’t talk Havas” (verzell kän Hawass), came into use. Since even back then, “Havas” was already used to mean nonsense, distortion, or a lie. What seems completely new to many people today was apparently already a major problem in the 19th century: mass media that was brought into line and manipulated. Even back then, the influence of freemasonry was unmistakable, as powerful freemasons exerted a strong influence on Charles-Louis Havas and provided significant funding for his agency. [Speaker 1:] What the Havas agency has to do with the three largest agencies today: Two former Havas employees founded their own agencies: Reuters, which is now one of the three largest news agencies in the world, and Wolff, later renamed DPA (Deutsche Presseagentur). It currently holds the license to “market” AP services. In 1859, Havas entered into a cartel agreement with his former employees, thereby establishing a de facto global monopoly on international news reporting. Later, the U.S.-based Associated Press (AP) also joined this cartel. [Moderator:] So today there are three major news agencies that provide the world with information. They all trace their origins back to Charles-Louis Havas or his model of the modern news agency and formed a joint cartel. They will be examined in more detail here. [Speaker 1:] Agence France-Presse, or AFP for short In 1944, Charles-Louis Havas's agency was renamed Agence France-Presse (AFP). The AFP currently has 2,600 employees who report from over 100 countries in six languages, prides itself on being the world’s leading “fact-checking” network with more than 100 journalists, is currently participating in 14 projects funded by the European Commission and other European institutions to combat online disinformation, and has a financial agreement with the French government. AFP is now one of the three largest news agencies in the world. The Havas Group still exists as the fifth-largest media group in the world. The Reuters agency Paul Julius Reuter worked for Charles-Louis Havas and founded the Reuters news agency in 1851. Reuters currently employs 2,500 journalists and 600 photojournalists and operates approximately 200 offices worldwide. In 1850, Reuters founder Paul Reuter collaborated with the Rothschilds in London. In 1916, the Scottish politician and freemason Napier assumed the chairmanship. In 2008 it was acquired by the Thomson Corporation, whose founder Roy Thomson was a freemason. Associated Press, or AP for short AP (U.S.) was founded in 1846, modeled after the Havas news agency; it is used by 12,000 media outlets and reaches more than half of the world's population every day. It receives financial support and grants from the Gates Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, and organizations such as the Knight Foundation and the Carnegie Corporation. Founding members such as James Watson Webb support President and freemason Andrew Jackson. A massive information war fueled by military influence on AP As recently as 2009, Tom Curley, then editor-in-chief of AP, complained that the Pentagon exerted enormous influence over the agency. It is said to have 27,000 PR specialists with an annual budget of a whopping 4.7 billion dollars. An agency called “Joint Hometown News Service” is located at a former Air Force base in Antonio, Texas. There, they created texts and images that were subsequently distributed to the media with false source assignments. Curley was threatened by high-ranking generals, who warned that they would ruin him and the agency if they insisted on upholding journalistic principles. [Moderator:] In his presentation at the 22nd AZK, Kla.TV founder Ivo Sasek pointed out the recurrent themes in world events. He explained how high-degree freemasons around the world founded countless powerful organizations with the goal of bringing the world's population under their control. Based on their own writings, Sasek demonstrates that high-degree freemasons profess and worship Satan as their god. Conclusion [Moderator:] Most of the news coverage in the Western media is provided by three global news agencies. These three agencies, which have deep involvement in freemasonry, trace their origins back to Charles-Louis Havas and were already being criticized as a media cartel well over 100 years ago. Media reports from these agencies are either reproduced verbatim or only slightly reworded by the media offices. Military intelligence is heavily involved and is investing billions in manipulating news coverage. Aside from the three major agencies, it is important to note that BlackRock and Vanguard own nearly 90 percent of U.S. media companies' shares and also hold stakes in many international media companies. These two financial giants hold stakes in nearly every major company worldwide. In the business magazine *Bloomberg Businessweek*, experts predict that by 2028, BlackRock and Vanguard will collectively manage $20 trillion and own nearly everything on Earth. According to economics and finance expert Ernst Wolff, Vanguard is BlackRock's largest shareholder. Vanguard and BlackRock, in turn, are State Street's largest shareholders, which means that all the threads come together in this area as well. According to Wolff, they represent a behind-the-scenes power that is stronger than any government in the world. Dear viewers, the facts presented here about the enormous interconnections within our so-called mainstream media make free reporting impossible. A major newspaper will never publish a critical report on, say, BlackRock, if this so-called shadow bank holds the largest stake in that newspaper. Critical reporting in general – whether on the war industry or the pharmaceutical lobby – is impossible when BlackRock is a shareholder in both those sectors and the media conglomerates – true to the saying, “He who pays the piper calls the tune.” The solution in times of information warfare is a free and independent media and an informed public.
