Në vitin 2021, deri në 828 milionë njerëz në mbarë botën ishin të uritur. Çdo i dhjeti person vuante nga uria kronike. çdo trembëdhjetë sekonda një fëmijë nën moshën pesë vjeç vdes nga uria. Me të njëjtën sasi toke dhe punë, premton rendimente dukshëm më të larta, dhe të gjitha pa inxhinieri gjenetike. Bimët kanë nevojë për pak pleh, pa pesticide dhe piqen në një kohë më të shkurtër. Gruri nuk rritet vetëm në kërcell, por misri zhvillohet në grupe tre deri në gjashtë kallinj në vend të një ose dy. Fara mbetet në duart e përdoruesit sepse mund të mbijë përsëri.
