Marina Abramović is een van de meest controversiële "kunstenaressen" van onze tijd. Haar werken, waarin het onder anderen gaat om verheerlijking van geweld en het toebrengen of ondergaan van lichamelijke pijn, werken schokkend. Desondanks wordt haar werk tentoongesteld in het Kunsthaus Zürich, terwijl SRF dit begeleidt met goedgunstige berichtgeving.

Marina Abramović, nu 78 jaar oud en oorspronkelijk uit Servië, is een van de meest omstreden "kunstenaars" van onze tijd. Haar werken, waarin het onder anderen gaat om de verheerlijking van geweld en het toebrengen of ondergaan van fysieke kwellingen*1 werken schokkend. Het grootste kunstmuseum van Zwitserland geeft dit ook toe in een triggerwaarschuwing. Daar, in het Kunsthaus Zürich, is tot februari 2025 een retrospectief*2 van Abramović’s levenswerk te zien.*3 De Zwitserse Radio en Televisie, SRF, heeft als Headline: Naakte huid en bloederige lichamen, Marina Abramović doorbreekt elk kader in het Kunsthaus Zürich. De kunst van Abramović, die wordt omschreven als "De Grande Dame van de performancekunst", zou "levensbedreigend en pijnlijk" zijn. Als je dit leest, zou je kunnen denken dat SRF de perversies en het geweld benoemt voor wat ze werkelijk zijn. Maar als je nauwkeuriger kijkt, moet je vaststellen dat SRF Abramović en haar bloeddorstige en geweld verheerlijkende voorstellingen niet brandmerkt, maar er kritiekloos en zakelijk over rapporteert. Dit wekt de indruk dat dit soort kunst weliswaar enigszins extreem is, maar zich toch binnen een acceptabel kader beweegt. SRF koppelt zijn verslaggeving vervolgens handig aan de uitspraak dat Abramović nu tot de sterren behoort waar iedereen mee zou willen samenwerken en suggereert zo aan de kijker dat het bij Abramović's vermeende kunst iets waardevols zou gaan. Maar hoe kan het dat net de publieke televisie- en radiostations, die verplichte bijdragen innen van hun kijkers en luisteraars, juist datgene als "kunst" prijzen wat in feite "schokkend", "levensbedreigend en pijnlijk" is? Wat SRF bovendien verzwijgt: Abramović viert de hele symboliek van het satanisme in haar kunst: Kindermisbruik, kannibalisme en de bloedcultus, perverse afschuwelijkheden met de verheerlijking van gewelddadigheid en dood. Een van haar specialiteiten zijn zogenaamde "Spirit Cooking" evenementen: Evenementen waarbij voedsel wordt geserveerd en gegeten in de vorm van menselijke lichaamsdelen. Zinspeelt dit op satanisch-rituele offers? Maar nee, schrijft SRF in een ander artikel: Abramović zou geen sataniste zijn, en critici worden door SRF zelfs afgeschilderd als complottheoretici en rechtse trollen. Kla.TV heeft echter onthuld dat het juist de SRF was die ontkende dat er wereldwijd satanisch-ritueel misbruik plaatsvond en de verslagen van slachtoffers bespotte als "Satanische Paniek" dus als “aangeprate paniek”.*4 Van dezelfde SRF-verslaggever die in een zogenaamd ontmaskerende tv-serie, een het satanisch-ritueel misbruik als "nepnieuws" wilde bestempelen kon worden bewezen dat hij banden had met groepen die het satanisme beoefenden. Kijk zelf maar in de hier getoonde uitzending, we hebben de link ook onder de video geplaatst.*5 En, met Abramović, krijgt nu opnieuw een overtuigende sataniste een platform van SRF! Hebben de publieke media, waar wij burgers verplicht voor moeten betalen, trouwens de opdracht van ons gekregen voor zoiets? Kunnen onze verplichte bijdragen worden gebruikt om dit tentoongestelde satanisme ook nog te bagatelliseren? Met het geld dat ze tevoren hebben afgetroggeld? Zou het niet eerder de taak zijn van objectieve en neutrale media om zich kritisch uit te drukken en ook de wrede achtergrond hiervan te onderzoeken en te onthullen? Laten we dat opeisen!
