Tại Anh, tạp chí trực tuyến nổi tiếng "The Daily Sceptic" đã khám phá chủ đề về các trạm thời tiết. Chúng được biết đến với việc cung cấp các kịch bản về thảm họa khí hậu vĩnh viễn. Tác giả Ray Sanders tự gọi mình là "nhà báo công dân" và đã khởi xướng một loạt các yêu cầu theo Đạo luật Tự do Thông tin. Ông đã đến thăm nhiều trạm thời tiết.
