“Süddeutsche Zeitung” raportoi së fundmi se Zyra për Mbrojtjen e Kushtetutës po kontrabandon agjentë virtualë në rrjetet sociale si Telegram, Instagram, Twitter dhe Gettr. Të gjitha "zonat fenomenale" do të ishin në shënjestër - "e djathta, e majta, ajo islamike dhe së fundmi edhe skena ideologjike konspirative". Vetëm në skenën e krahut të djathtë, mbi njëqind agjentë për mbrojtjen e kushtetutës kanë qenë aktivë në internet që nga viti 2019. Këto "postojnë slogane raciste dhe nxisin", sipas Süddeutsche. Prandaj, qëllimi është të kontaktohen njerëzit veçanërisht me ndikim në skenën online dhe të parandalohen sulmet e planifikuara ose të ngjashme. Për t'u njohur, lejohet shprehimisht kryerja e krimeve propagandistike "tipike për skenën", me pak fjalë: edhe nxitja e popullit.. Shkaku i infiltrimit të agjentëve virtualë ishte vrasja e politikanit të CDU, Walter Lübcke, në vitin 2019. "Süddeutsche" (shkurt SZ) bën fushatë për mirëkuptim për procedurën e Zyrës për Mbrojtjen e Kushtetutës. Për luftën kundër terrorizmit, duket se gjithçka lejohet. Megjithatë, Sebastian Friebel, një ish-punonjës i Bundestagut gjerman, sheh motive krejtësisht të ndryshme për metodat e përdorura nga Zyra për Mbrojtjen e Kushtetutës: Në realitet, fushata virtuale e radikalizimit të agjencisë vendase të inteligjencës mund t'i shërbejë qëllimit të mëposhtëm: Siç u përmend më lart, qeveritë përfitojnë nga nxitja e grupeve të margjinalizuara, sepse njerëzit e vërtetë ose të supozuar të rrezikshëm mund të përdoren për të justifikuar më shumë mbikëqyrje dhe një reduktim të mëtejshëm të lirive civile. Kjo pengon që protesta e justifikuar të jetë e pranueshme për pjesë më të mëdha të shoqërisë - sepse ata nuk duan të kenë të bëjnë asgjë me pikëpamjet radikale të aktorëve individualë. 3. Ju shpërqendroni nga forcat vërtet me ndikim duke përhapur teori të rreme për "sundimtarët" e supozuar të vërtetë. (...) 4. Siç thashë, ju arrini radikalizimin e dëshiruar të grupeve të vogla të skajshme, gjë që justifikon më shumë mbikëqyrje dhe një çmontim të mëtejshëm të të drejtave themelore.” Ky është vlerësimi i Sebastian Friebel.
